Songwriter Barry Mann to Join Beautiful's Jarrod Spector in His A Little Help From My Friends Cabaret Show
Spector plays a young version of Mann in the Broadway hit ''Beautiful — The Carole King Musical''.
Jarrod Spector, who is currently playing legendary songwriter Barry Mann in the new Broadway hit Beautiful — The Carole King Musical, will offer an added performance of his cabaret show, A Little Help From My Friends, on April 9 at 54 Below. This added performance will also feature the real Barry Mann.
Before originating the role of Barry Mann in Beautiful, Jarrod Spector starred as Frankie Valli in Broadway's Jersey Boys for a record 1,500 performances. His other credits include Broadway's Les Misérables and the national tours of Les Misérables and Jersey Boys.
Directed by Marc Bruni and featuring a book by Douglas McGrath, Beautiful stars Jessie Mueller as singer-songwriter Carole King, with Jake Epstein as Gerry Goffin, Anika Larsen as Cynthia Weil, and Jarrod Spector as Barry Mann. The production plays at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
