Set in a run-down Massachusetts movie theater, The Flick follows the heartbreaks, loneliness, and battles of a trio of underpaid employees as they sweep up popcorn, mop the floors, play "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon," and tend to one of the last 35-millimeter film projectors in the state. Featured in the cast are Aaron Clifton Moten (A Streetcar Named Desire), Louisa Krause (Iphegenia 2.0), Matthew Maher (Golden Child), and Alex Hanna (in his off-Broadway debut). Baker received Obie Awards for her plays Circle Mirror Transformation and The Aliens, and is also the author of Body Awareness and a new adaptation of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya.

Guests at the performance included Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny), Tony Award winners Judith Light (The Assembled Parties) and Shuler Hensley (The Whale), Emmy winner Mare Winningham (Picnic), Tony nominee Lily Rabe (Seminar), Maggie Grace (Picnic), Anita Gillette (The Big Meal), Dylan Baker (God of Carnage), Becky Ann Baker (The Great God Pan), Keith Nobbs (The Great God Pan), and Eddie Kaye Thomas (Golden Age).
