Harry Potter Star Christian Coulson Joins Cast of Off-Broadway's A Picture of Autumn
The Drama Desk Award-winning Mint Theater will present the American Premiere of the N.C. Hunter play this May.
Off-Broadway's Mint Theater has announced the complete cast for its upcoming American premiere of English dramatist N.C. Hunter's A Picture of Autumn. The play will run from May 23-July 14 with an official opening night set for June 10.
Directed by Gus Kaikkonen, the cast will feature Christian Coulson, who stepped into the spotlight in 2002 when he took on the role of Tom Riddle in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the second film of the series. The cast will also include Helen Cespedes, Curran Connor, Barbara Eda-Younf, Katie Firth, Jonathan Hogan, George Morfogen, Paul Niebanck, and Jill Tanner.
A Picture of Autumn comically depicts an aging family's attempt to grow old gracefully. Robert returns home to England to find his parents, Charles and Margaret Denham, living in complete disarray in their old, rundown home with elderly Uncle Harry and senile Nanny. When an opportunity to sell the cumbersome property arises, Robert encourages his parents to seize it.
The production's creative team will feature set design by Charles Morgan, costume design by Sam Fleming, lighting design by William Armstrong, sound design by Jane Shaw, and prop design by Joshua Yocum.
