CBS Cancels We Are Men Starring Broadway's Tony Shalhoub and Jerry O'Connell
The comedy, which also featured Kal Penn and Christopher Nicholas Smith, aired only two episodes.
CBS has announced the cancellation of its new half-hour comedy We Are Men, which starred theater favorites Jerry O'Connell (Seminar) and Tony nominee Tony Shalhoub (Golden Boy) as well as Aya Cash (The Other Place). We Are Men also starred film and television veterans Kal Penn and Christopher Nicholas Smith.
We Are Men, which was canceled after only two episodes, focused on Carter, a young man who moves into a short-term rental complex after being abandoned at the altar. At the complex, Carter finds friendship with three older and more experienced divorced men.
Another comedy, 2 Broke Girls, will move into the time slot left vacant by We Are Men.
