Broadway's Sexiest to Come Together for Broadway Bares 23: United Strips of America
The wait is over. Broadway Bares 23 announces a theme.
A hot American summer is almost here!
Broadway Bares has announced that the theme for its 23rd annual benefit concert, taking place June 23, will be United Strips of America. Described as a "raucous road trip, exploring the United States," Broadway Bares 23 is the latest installment of the hugely popular, annual burlesque show and benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Broadway Bares marries burlesque with the razzle-dazzle of Broadway and has, since its inception in 1992, become one of BC/EFA's signature events. Throughout the last 22 editions, the show has raised more than $9.8 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
The event was created by Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots). This year's edition is directed by Nick Kenkel (Evita).
Special guests will be announced at a later date, but they're sure to be the stuff of your American dreams.
