Core Values follows the owner of a small travel agency who clings to the values of team work and loyalty that he holds most dear. But it takes a weekend staff retreat for him to realize that team-building exercises won't put off the realities of a rapidly evolving marketplace.
Levenson, who received a commission to write this play during his tenure as the Ars Nova's artist-in-residence in 2010, has written other plays that include Seven Minutes in Heaven, Almost Stuck, and Girls Day. His new play, The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin, will be given its world premiere at Roundabout's Laura Pels Theatre this June.
