The event benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has announced that the 28th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition will be held on April 21 and 22 at the Minskoff Theatre.
The Easter Bonnet Competition is the culmination of six weeks of intensive fundraising efforts by Broadway, off-Broadway, and national touring productions. During the competition, performers from participating shows sing, dance, and wear strikingly creative and elaborate Easter bonnets made especially for the event. The winner of the Easter Bonnet Competition is the company that raises the most for BC/EFA, but awards also are given for best bonnet design and best presentation.
Hosts, judges, and special guests for this year's Easter Bonnet Competition will be announced in the coming weeks.
Last year's Easter Bonnet Competition raised $4,250,542. For more information about that event, click here.
