Downtown Troupe Bedlam Will Return This Fall With Jane Austin's Sense & Sensibility
The drama will be presented in repertory with The Seagull.
Bedlam, the up-and-coming off-Broadway theater company that burst onto the scene last season with repertory productions of Saint Joan and Hamlet, will return with a double-header of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull and Jane Austin's Sense & Sensibility. Eric Tucker directs both plays. The Seagull is adapted for the stage by Anya Reiss and Sense & Sensibility is adapted by Kate Hamill. The 10-member cast will be made up of Laura Baranik, Nigel Gore, Kate Hamill, Andrus Nichols, Jason O'Connell, John Russell, Vaishnavi Sharma, Samantha Steinmetz, Eric Tucker, and Stephan Wolfert.
The creative team includes John McDermott (set design), Les Dickert (lighting design), Angela Huff (costume design), and Alexandra Beller (choreographer).
