Marc Wolf’s Another American: Asking and Telling Extends Through October 4

Marc Wolf’s acclaimed solo show Another American: Asking and Telling, now playing at the DR2 Theatre, has been extended until October 4 (with no shows on September 5-6) and has added Sunday evening performances. The production features original direction by Joe Mantello.

In the piece, developed from over 150 interviews, Wolf portrays a community of characters struggling with the government’s ban on gays and lesbians in the armed forces, including civil rights lawyers, federal judges, professors and politicians.

Wolf won an Obie and was nominated for the Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for his Off-Broadway performance of the show at The New Group in 2000. He has also performed the piece at various venues around the country.
