Cherry Jones to Be Honored by NYC’s LGBT Center

Tony Award winner Cherry Jones will be the Outspoken Community Leader Honoree at the New York City Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center’s Women’s Event 10, to be held on Saturday, November 3 at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers.
Jones won the Tony for Best Actress in a Play for Doubt and The Heiress. Her many other New York stage credits include Faith Healer, A Moon for the Misbegotten, Flesh and Blood, Pride’s Crossing, and Our Country’s Good. She is currently starring as President Allison Taylor on the hit FOX-TV series 24.
