Daytime Emmy Award winner Tom Pelphrey and British actor Victor Villar-Hauser will alternate the lead role in Kevin Mandel's new play, A New Television Arrives, Finally, to run September 6-30 at Theatre 54. The production, which will open on September 10, will be directed by Kevin Kittle.

The actors will take turns playing the role of a charismatic man who presents himself as a television set to a young American couple (played by Kate Russell and Bryan Fenkart). The show's creative team includes Chad Brinkman (sets and sound), Rebecca Lustig (costumes), and Robin Paterson (lighting).

Pelphrey earned the Emmy for his portrayal of Jonathan Randall on Guiding Light. His stage credits include Richard III and The Taming of the Shrew. Villar-Hauser has appeared Off-Broadway in Cleansed and The Pitchfork Disney.
