Wendy Williams, of The Wendy Williams Show fame, made her official Broadway debut last night in the long-running musical Chicago at the Ambassador Theatre. She will remain in the production, in the role of prison matron Mama Morton, through August 11.

Now a big Broadway star, Williams made her name as a “shock jockette” on several radio shows before gaining her own syndicated talk show.
