The first revival of the fan-favorite musical Jekyll & Hyde by Tony Award nominee Frank Wildhorn (Bonnie and Clyde) opens tonight on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre after a six-month national tour. Based off Robert Louis Stevenson's 1886 novella, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the revival stars American Idol veteran Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages) as Dr. Henry Jekyll/Mr. Edward Hyde alongside Grammy Award-nominated R&B singer Deborah Cox (Aida) as Lucy Harris. The production features music, book, and lyrics by Tony Award nominee and Grammy Award winner Leslie Bricusse (Victor/Victoria).

The haunting show follows scientist Dr. Henry Jekyll who tests medical theories on himself after his research proposals are rejected by the board of St. Jude's Hospital. These experimental treatments end in disastrous results as Dr. Jekyll consequently releases his inner demons in the form of his evil alter ego, Mr. Hyde.

The pop-infused score features songs including "Bring on the Men," "Transformation," "This Is The Moment," and "Façade."

Making their Broadway debuts are Richard White, Dana Costello, Wendy Fox, Brian Gallagher, Ashley Loren, and Courtney Markowitz joined by David Benoit (Avenue Q), Jerry Christakos (Kiss of the Spider Woman), Sean Jenness (Bonnie and Clyde), Mel Johnson, Jr. (Hot Feet), James Judy (The Scarlet Pimpernel), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Hair), Aaron Ramey (Young Frankenstein), Blair Ross (42nd Street), Doug Storm (Dance of the Vampires), Jason Wooten (Hair), and Teal Wicks (Wicked) as Dr. Jekyll's fiancé, Emma Carew.
