The season will begin with Too Old for the Chorus (September 28-October 14), a musical revue about aging co-written by Marie Cain, Mark Winkler, and Shelly Markham. Next up, the theater's co-owner Cathy Rigby will star as the title canine character of A.R. Gurney's popular comedy Sylvia (November 2-18).
In 2008, La Mirada will present two works by Pulitzer Prize winner Alfred Uhry, Driving Miss Daisy (February 1-17) and The Last Night of Ballyhoo (June 6-22), along with a revival of the Tom Jones-Harvey Schmidt musical I Do! I Do! (April 11-27).
