Jack Ellis, Chris Ellison, Paul Nivison, Paula Wilcox to Star in UK Tour of Great Expectations

A new stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations by Jo Clifford will begin a national tour of the United Kingdom beginning September 11 prior to a run in London’s West End. The tour will open at the Richmond Theatre on September 13.

Directed and co-designed by Graham McLaren, Great Expectations will star Jack Ellis as Jaggers, Chris Ellison as Magwitch, Paul Nivison as Adult Pip, and Paula Wilcox as Miss Havisham. Additional casting will be announced.

The creative team includes Robin Peoples (co-designer), Kai Fischer (lighting), Simon Slater (original music), Matt McKenzie (sound), and Giovanni Bedin for House of Worth (couture designs).

Tour stops include the Richmond Theatre (September 12-15), New Victoria Theater, Woking (September 18-22), Malvern Theatre (September 25-29),Theatre Royal, Brighton (October 2-6), New Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham (October 9-13), Civic Theatre, Darlington (October 16-20), The Waterside, Aylesbury (October 30-November 3),and Her Majesty’s, Aberdeen (November 6-10).
