More casting has been announced for the upcoming Broadway revival of Terrence McNally's It's Only a Play.

Rupert Grint, best known for his performance as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise, will join the previously announced principal company, which features Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Megan Mullally, Stockard Channing, F. Murray Abraham, and Micah Stock.

Grint makes his Broadway debut in the backstage comedy after starring last year in a West End revival of Jez Butterworth's Mojo. He takes on the role of Frank Finger, the director of a new play written by Broderick's character, Peter Austin. Lane appears as James Wicker, Peter's insecure pal, with Mullally as producer Julia Budder, Channing as actress Virginia Noyes, Abraham as theater critic Ira Drew, and Micah Stock as coat-check attendant Gus Washington.

Jack O'Brien directs production, which is set to open on October 9 at the Schoenfeld Theatre. Click here for tickets.
