Manhattan Theatre Club's production of Richard Greenberg's new drama The Assembled Parties, celebrated its opening night on Wednesday, April 17. Following the performance, the cast and guests headed from the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre across the street to the Copacabana for the after party.

Tony Award winner Judith Light and Tony Award nominee Jessica Hecht lead the company of the time-jumping play as a pair of sisters-in-law whose seemingly picture-perfect lives begin to unravel with the arrival of a houseguest for dinner. Lynne Meadow's production also features Tony Award nominee Jeremy Shamos, Mark Blum, Lauren Blumenfeld, Alex Dreier, Jake Silbermann, and Jonathan Walker.

Guests at the opening night included Valerie Harper, America Ferrera, Andrew Rannells, Cherry Jones (with her Glass Menagerie costar Brian J. Smith), Dan Lauria, Michael Shannon, Kate Arrington, Jayne Houdyshell, David Costabile, Linda Lavin and Steve Bakunas, Jennifer Van Dyck, Mary Beth Peil, Chuck Cooper, Jennifer Westfeldt, Adriane Lenox, Lisa Lampanelli, Liz Callaway, Lois Smith, Mike Doyle, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, and Richard Schiff.
