Roundabout Theatre Company celebrated the opening night of its off-Broadway revival of Lanford Wilson's Talley's Folly on Tuesday, March 5. The drama, directed by Michael Wilson (Broadway's upcoming The Trip to Bountiful), runs through April 28 at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre

Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein (Golden Boy) and Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story) star in the World War II-era drama, which is set in a Missouri boathouse and follows the unlikely romance of Jewish immigrant Matt (Burstein) and Protestant-born Sally (Paulson). Matt has returned to Missouri to ask Sally's hand in marriage after a brief meeting the previous summer. The drama is one of three plays in a cycle that also includes Fifth of July and Talley & Son.

Guests at the opening included Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. (The Trip to Bountiful), Amanda Peet (Barefoot in the Park), Tony Award nominees Lily Rabe (The Merchant of Venice), Bobby Cannavale (The Big Knife), Marin Ireland (Reasons to be Pretty), and Rebecca Luker (Mary Poppins), Tony Award winners Linda Lavin (The Lyons) and Jim Dale (The Road to Mecca), dancer Heather Watts, playwright Michael Rabe, Counting Crows front man Adam Duritz, Lois Smith (The Trip to Bountiful), Louis Zorich (Mad About You), and Tug Coker (Magic/Bird).
