Boston Metro Kids Spotlight: July '07

For family fun, WHAT launches its kids' show, Daisy Crockett (July 9 - August 30), under a big top, while the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly - one of only a handful of venues nationwide to be awarded the show's professional rights - mounts Disney's wildly popular High School Musical (July 3-29), in which pros will mix with some very excited local kids. Also lined up at NSMT: Russian American Kids Circus (July 13), Tap Kids (July 21), and the musical group Hot Peas and Butter (July 27).

Anyone with pint-size companions, and even those without, must absolutely not miss the return engagement of Frogz! at the Cutler Majestic (May 30-June 3). Seattle's Imago Theatre wowed audiences as guests of ART two years ago, and who knows when they'll be hopping this way again.
