The complete line-up for the 2009 Toronto Film Festival, running September 10-19, has been announced, according to Variety. The Festival will show over 240 films, with 95 of them being world premieres.
Highlights of the festival will include Love and Other Impossible Pursuits, starring Natalie Portman; Mother and Child, starring Annette Bening and Kerry Washington; Agora, starring Rachel Weisz, Chloe, starring Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson. and Amanda Seyfried; and Aaron Schneider's Get Low, starring Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, Lewis Black, and Sissy Spacek; and Lars Von Trier's Antichrist, starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg.
Also on tap are Jane Campion's Bright Star, with Ben Whishaw as the poet John Keats; Tim Blake Nelson's Leaves of Grass, starring Ed Norton as two very different identical twins; Catherine Corsini's Partir, starring Kristin Scott Thomas as a married psychiatrist who falls for the man she hired as a builder; Brian Koppleman and David Levien's Solitary Man, starring Michael Douglas, Susan Sarandon, Danny DeVito and Mary-Louise Parker; and Jon Amiel's Creation, starring Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly as scientist Charles Darwin and his wife Emma.
