Shakespeare’s Globe Production of Hamlet to Play Folger Theatre

Dominic Dromgoole and Bill Buckhurt’s co-production of Hamlet, first seen at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, will run September 8-22 at the Folger Theatre in Washington, DC as the first American stop for an upcoming tour.
The eight-actor production features Michael Benz (Hamlet), Peter Bray (Rosencrantz, Osric, Fortinbras), Miranda Foster (Gertrude), Tom Lawrence (Horatio), Carlyss Peer (Ophelia), Matthew Romain (Laertes/Guildenstern), Christopher Saul (Polonius/Gravedigger), and Dikon Tyrrell (Claudius/Ghost).
