Arena Stage has announced casting for Eugene O’Neill’s Ah, Wilderness!, to run March 9 – April 8 at the Mead Center for American Theater. Kyle Donnelly will direct the production.

The play, set at the beginning of the last century, centers on a family settling in to celebrate a traditional Fourth of July even as one child – middle son Richard – grapples with cultural conventions, political uncertainty, the power of literature, and the exquisite pain of love.

The company will feature Allison Leigh Corke as Norah, Leo Erickson, as David McComber/Salesman, James Flanagan as Wint Selby/Bartender, Rick Foucheux as Nat Miller, Jonathan Lincoln Fried as Sid Davis, Talisa Friedman as Mildred Miller, Davis Chandler Hasty as Arthur Miller, Pearl Rhein as Belle, William Patrick Riley as Richard Miller, Nancy Robinette as Essie Miller, Kimberly Schraf as Lily Miller, and June Schreiner as Muriel McComber. Thomas Langston will play Tommy Miller and be understudied by T.J. Langston.
