Shakespeare Theatre Company will present Eugene O'Neill's Hughie as part of its 2012-2013 season. The production will be directed by Doug Hughes and star Emmy Award-winner Richard Schiff in the title role.

Hughie replaces the previously announced production of Shaw's Man and Superman. The work will run in the Lansburgh Theatre, January 31 - March 17, 2013.

As previously announced, the season will feature a free production of All's Well That Ends Well originally directed by Michael Kahn in 2010, and now directed by Jenny Lord (August 23 - September 9); Nikolai Gogol's The Government Inspector (Lansburgh Theatre, September 13 - October 28), adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher, and directed by Kahn; Shakespeare's beloved comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Sidney Harman Hall, November 15 - December 30), directed by Ethan McSweeny; and Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale (Lansburgh Theatre, May 9 - June 23), directed by Rebecca Bayla Taichman.

Additionally, the Clarice Smith Repertory Series in Sidney Harman Hall will run March 28 - June 2, 2013 and feature Shakespeare's Coriolanus, directed by David Muse and Friedrich Schiller's Wallenstein, adapted by Robert Pinsky, and directed by Kahn.
