The Sisters Rosensweig is described as a comedy that follows the three Rosensweig sisters: a no-nonsense international banker, a kvelling mother of four, and a bohemian world-traveling journalist. When the three reunite at Sara’s London home for her 54th birthday celebration, a barrage of suitors and unexpected revelations make for one remarkable weekend.
The cast features Susan Lynskey, Susan Rome, Kimberly Schraf, Josh Adams, Edward Christian, Michael Russotto, James Whalen, and Caroline Wolfson.
The artistic team for The Sisters Rosensweig includes set designer James Fouchard, lighting designer Harold F. Burgess II, costume designer Kelsey Hunt, sound designer Neil McFadden, and props designer Michelle Elwyn.
Wasserstein developed the last two plays of her career at Theater J. In 2004, Theater J produced the world premieres of her one-acts, Welcome to My Rash and Third, which was expanded into full-length play at Lincoln Center Theater and was her final major work.
