Stars Ask the Stars at the Opening Night of The Nap
John Ellison Conlee, Alexandra Billings, and the rest of the comedic ensemble demystify a British pastime.
Richard Bean's new ensemble comedy, The Nap, brings more than just laughs to its New York audiences. It brings an education in the baffling British game of snooker, which finds its way to the center of Bean's play — the first Broadway production of Manhattan Theatre Club's 2018-19 season. The show opened last night at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre, and its red-carpet guests had plenty of questions for us to relay to the MTC cast, replete with both hustlers and afternoon nappers.
