Spend Time With Three Tall Women: Glenda Jackson, Laurie Metcalf, and Alison Pill
Joe Mantello directs the Broadway premiere of this Pulitzer Prize-winning drama by Edward Albee.
Three Tall Women — Edward Albee's 1994 Pulitzer winner about an elderly dowager modeled after his own mother — is being revived on Broadway in the most glamorous fashion possible. Directed by Joe Mantello, the production stars two-time Academy Award winner Glenda Jackson, making her first Broadway appearance in 30 years, Tony winner and recent Oscar nominee Laurie Metcalf, and stage and screen vet Alison Pill. On opening night, this trio of powerhouse actors and their director discussed bringing this Albee classic to life, and how it was a lot more complicated than they expected.
