Scout Finch Is All Grown Up in Broadway's To Kill a Mockingbird
Celia Keenan-Bolger plays Harper Lee's heroine, who looks back with adult eyes at her childhood choices.
Scout Finch, as her Broadway ambassador Celia Keenan-Bolger says, is possibly the "greatest literary heroine of all time." With that kind of reputation comes the responsibility to do the character justice — and in the stage adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird, Keenan-Bolger takes on that responsibility in her portrayal of Scout as both a child and an adult looking back on her upbringing in 1930s Maycomb, Alabama. Take a look as Keenan-Bolger and a few of her castmates shine light on the small girl who asks the story's big questions, and find out what to expect when you meet her onstage at the Shubert Theatre.
