Big Brother has arrived on Broadway with the opening of 1984, a new stage adaptation of George Orwell's legendary dystopian novel. Olivia Wilde, Tom Sturridge, and Tony winner Reed Birney head the company of the new play, which makes its New York debut after several acclaimed engagements abroad. On opening night, Wilde, Birney, Sturridge, and adaptor-directors Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan discussed the show's scary parallels to real life and its contemporary resonance.
