Kate Baldwin Debuts a Musical-Theater Mash-Up
Baldwin returns to Feinstein's/54 Below for a new series of concerts this month.
Kate Baldwin, fresh off her Tony-nominated turn as Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly!, makes her return to nightclub Feinstein's/54 Below for a series of concerts running October 16, 18, 19, and 30. At a recent press event, Baldwin debuted a mash-up of two musical-theater classics that are near and dear to her heart: Frank Loesser's "Somebody, Somewhere" from The Most Happy Fella and Kander and Ebb's "A Quiet Thing" from Flora, the Red Menace. Here she tells us why she loves them, and offers a sneak peek of her new show, "How Did You Get This Number?".
