I'm Still Here: Tales of Broadway Longevity — Aladdin's Jafar and More Agrabah Residents
The film's original villain joins Broadway's Iago and Babkak to discuss nearly a decade in the city of mystery and enchantment.
Aladdin has been delighting Broadway audiences since 2014, and stars Jonathan Freeman, Don Darryl Rivera, and Brian Gonzales (Jafar, Iago, and Babkak, respectively) have been embodying their characters even longer. All three actors started with the production during a pre-Broadway run in Seattle in 2011, and Freeman, who voiced the character of Jafar in the 1992 film, has played the role longer than some of their castmates have been alive! TM sat down with the trio to discuss the ins and outs of their craft in this three-part "I'm Still Here" miniseries.
