Tom Stoppard Joins the Cast of Travesties on Opening Night
Come along to the carnival happening at the American Airlines Theatre.
Patrick Marber's hilarious revival of Tom Stoppard's Travesties is now open on Broadway at Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre. Imported from London's West End, the production stars Tom Hollander as Henry Carr, a man who questionably remembers being acquainted with James Joyce, Tristan Tzara, and Vladimir Lenin while living in 1917 Switzerland. Topics of art, war, and the meaning of life are bandied about in intellectual Stoppard fashion, but as the Broadway ensemble reassured us after the curtain came down, there's plenty of fun to lighten the mood.
