Christine Dwyer to Step Into Role of Jenna in Waitress National Tour

She will take over from Desi Oakley starting in Salt Lake City later this month.

Christine Dwyer will take over from Desi Oakley as Jenna in the national tour of Sara Bareilles and Jessie Nelson's musical Waitress starting Friday, September 28, at the Eccles Theatre in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The rest of the cast will remain the same: Lenne Klingaman (Dawn), Bryan Fenkart (Dr. Pomatter), Nick Bailey (Earl), Ryan G. Dunkin (Cal), Charity Angél Dawson (Becky), Larry Marshall (Joe), and Jeremy Morse (Ogie), with the ensemble comprising Mark Christine, Rheaume Crenshaw, Jim Hogan, David Hughey, Emily Koch, Max Kumangai, Tatiana Lofton, Gerianne Pérez, Brad Standley, Grace Stockdale, and Alex Tripp.

Waitress premiered in 2015 at American Repertory Theater in Boston and currently runs on Broadway at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. The musical is directed by Diane Paulus, choreographed by Lorin Latarro, and designed by Scott Pask (sets), Suttirat Larlarb (costumes), Christopher Akerlind (lighting), and Jonathan Deans (sound).
