Plays from Paula Vogel, Joe Orton and Sarah Ruhl are all part of the Jobsite Theater’s 2009-2010 season. The group, a resident company at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, will open with a production of Paula Vogel’s And Baby Makes Seven (September 24 – October 11).

Night of the Living Dead (October 22 – November 8), adapted from George Romero’s screenplay by Lori Allen Ohm, follows. Jobsite will start the new year off with Joe Orton’s black comedy What the Butler Saw (January 7 – January 24).

Three plays seen in New York in recent years comprise the balance of the theater’s season. First comes boom! (March 11 – March 28), by Peter Nachtrieb. The theater will follow this with Sarah Ruhl’s Dead Man’s Cell Phone (June 3-20). The final production for Jobsite in 2009-2010 will be Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead (August 5-22).
