Merry Jo Cortada, David Leddick, Stefan Pinto Set for ArtServe One-Acts

Fort Lauderdale ‘s ArtServe will present the target=_blank>one-act plays Mr. Charles, currently of Palm Beach by Paul Rudnick and Mexico City by David Leddick, July 3-5.

Both plays will star Mr. Leddick, Merry Jo Cortada, and Stefan Pinto. Ricocheting between Palm Beach and Mexico City, these plays are funny and sad, sexy and sinister.

Rudnick is the author of plays such as The New Century, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, and I Hate Hamlet, and has won an Obie, an Outer Critics Circle Award and the John Gassner Playwrighting Award. Leddick has authored two Lambda Award-winning books and four musicals with Andrew Sargent as composer and recently starred in the musical It’s A Fabulous Life at the Broward Center of the Performing Arts.

Cortada is a dancer, singer, actress, and voice-over artist who has played such roles as Anita Bryant 1000 Homosexuals and Ethel Merman The 11 O’clock Number.
Pinto is a model and actor who recently performed at the Rising Action Theater in Say You Love Satan and Escorts.
