Andrea McArdle and Martin Charnin to Reunite for Love Is Love

Andrea McArdle, who originated the title role in the Broadway musical Annie will reunite with that show’s creator, director and lyricist Martin Charnin for the new musical revue, Love Is Love, at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, October 15-25.

Conceived and directed by Charnin, the show features music and lyrics by both Charnin and Richard Gray, and will take the audience on a journey that grapples with the mysteries and complications of love. The cast will also feature Patti Eyler, Laura Hodos, and Avery Sommers.

McArdle received a Tony nomination and a Theatre World Award for her role in Annie, and additional Broadway credits include Les Miserables, State Fair, and Beauty and the Beast. Charnin has received four Tony nominations, two Tony Awards, six Grammy Awards, three Emmy Awards, three Gold Records, two Platinum Records, six Drama Desk Awards, the Peabody Award for Broadcasting, and most recently another Grammy Award for Jay-Z’s rap album, Hard Knock Life, which went triple platinum.
