Jake Ehrenreich’s A Jew Grows in Brooklyn is set to tour the southern end of the sunshine state with stops at
Miami’s Dave and Mary J Alper JCC (January 17-February 1), the Coral Springs Center for the Arts (February 4-15), and the Cuillo Center for the Arts (February 19-April 5). Ehrenreich will star in and co-direct the production with Jon Huberth.

The solo show is the story of Ehrenreich’s life as a first generation American boy. The son of Holocaust survivors, he grew up in 1960s Brooklyn playing stickball and pop music, and wanting nothing more than to be an American while simultaneously loving and avoiding his parents’ values and culture.

The creative team will include Lisa Ehrenreich (costume design), Joseph Egan (set design), Anjeanette Stokes (lighting design), and Elysa Sunshine (musical direction).
