The Muny Completes Casting for Regional Premiere of Jersey Boys

The Tony-winning Four Seasons musical is headed to St. Louis for the theater’s 100th season.

The Muny announced today its complete cast and design team for its upcoming production of Jersey Boys (July 9-16) — the first licensed production of Jersey Boys in the world.

The lead quartet will feature Mark Ballas (Frankie Valli), Bobby Conte Thornton (Bob Gaudio), Nicolas Dromard (Tommy DeVito), and Keith Hines (Nick Massi), joined by Neal Benari (Gyp DeCarlo) and Nicholas Rodriguez (Bob Crewe). The ensemble will also include Michelle Aravena, Candi Boyd, Phillip Johnson-Richardson, Tommy Martinez, Carissa Massaro, Trina Mills, Harris Milgrim, Dakota Mullins, Ben Nordstrom, Michael Seltzer, Gabi Stapula, and Victor Wisehart. The Muny Teen youth ensemble will participate in the production as well.

The creative team includes scenic design by Paul Tate dePoo III, costume design by Andrea Lauer, lighting design by Rob Denton, sound design by John Shivers and David Patridge, video design by Matthew Young, and wig design by Robert Pickens, with production stage manager J. Jason Daunter.

The production will be directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes with music direction by Rick Bertone. Winner of the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, Jersey Boys is the biographic story of the hit group, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, featuring a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music by Bob Gaudio, and lyrics by Bob Crewe.
