Justin Guarini to Star in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at The Muny

Broadway veteran and American Idol finalist Justin Guarini will star in the title role of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at The Muny, July 23-29.

Based on the Biblical story, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s family-friendly musical tells the tale of Joseph, who is sold into slavery by his brothers, and his journey to become the ruler of Egypt.

Guarini is currently starring in the new Stephen King-John Mellencamp musical, Ghost Brothers of Darkland County at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. His Broadway credits include American Idiot and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. He’s also starred regionally as Roger in Rent and Billy Flynn in Chicago. He was a runner-up on season one of American Idol, and has released two solo albums.
