About This Show

Following the success of recent Christmas productions including GRIMMS Trilogy and Rumplestiltskin and Other Grizzly Tales, Horla return with A Christmas Carol, another festive treat for all the family. The heart of Ebenezer Scrooge is as cold as ice. Christmas, for the bitter old miser, is not a good enough reason to be jolly. But one Christmas Eve he is visited by the spirit of his late business partner Jacob Marley and three other ghosts…

Charles Dickens’ melancholy tale will be told using mime, physical theatre and live music by an ensemble of actor/ musicians. This production will stay true to the original novel, concentrating on the darker aspects of the story and making the embittered Scrooge’s redemption all the more joyous and uplifting. Adapted for the stage by Joanna Volinska and directed by Alistair Green.
