About the Show
This is the tale of Sweeney Todd, a murderous barber who seeks revenge against the sinister Judge Turpin for the murder of his beloved Lucy many years previous. As the body count rises, his partner in crime, Mrs. Lovett, disposes of the corpses in her meat pies. Meanwhile, Anthony Hope, a sailor who saved Todd’s life, falls in love with Todd’s estranged daughter, Johanna, who was raised as Turpin’s ward.
