About This Show

This production of William Shakespeare’s classic comedy is set in a Texas border town. The nihilistic Benedick is more than matched by the enigmatic Beatrice, both in varying states of denial of their passion for one another. Trusting their tongues but not each others’ souls, Bea and Ben are contrasted by the dear love between Hero and Claudio, until foul play enters the game…along with the security-challenged constable Dogberry and his not-so-vigilant volunteer police squad.
