About this show

The show opens when a desperate, black, middle-aged New Yorker drags his memories to the curb for closer examination. He begins a journey of self-discovery told through monologues, character studies and songs. We meet Clarence (a homeless man), Mavis (a know-it-all neighbor) and her two sons De Ron (a pretend thug) and Fred Jr. (an emerging gay fashion designer living life on his own terms). We also spend time with a pill-pushing psychiatrist called Dr. Feelgood and prophetic preacher called Righteous Reverend who urges his congregation to "Be Incomplete!"
