About This Show

A couple promoting a self-help guide for marriage need some help of their own in this new, fast paced, high-energy comedy by Philip LaZebnik and Kingsley Day. James Glossman directs.

Author Herb Gladney and his wife, Rebecca, are on a nationwide book tour to promote his self help guide Marriage is Forever. But their own marriage is shaky, and Rebecca has come along for the sake of appearances. Their quarreling is interrupted by TV talk-show host Pam Blair, who is scheduled to interview the couple later that evening. Detecting marital discord, and hoping to expose a best-selling marriage expert as a fraud, she assigns her Swedish cameraman to spy from the Gladney’s closet. Meanwhile, in the next room, a philandering pro-family-values senator is planning a tryst with his latest bimbo, who secretly sees their affair as her ticket to tabloid fame. Adding to the chaos are a dim-witted bellboy who never forgets a face, a larcenous maid of doubtful immigration status, and an accordion playing nun.
