About This Show

A new version with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Hallelujah, Baby! is the musical story of an African-American girl who is “25 – give or take” when she starts out as a maid in a small Southern town 100 years ago and makes her way through the country and the decades until she ends up today, still “25 – give or take” in a New York apartment with a great view. As the times change, the music and attitudes change but happily, nobody, black or white, gets any older.

There are additional matinee performances at 2pm on Thursday, October 14 and November 4. There is no matinee on Saturday, October 16 or closing night, Sunday, November 7.
