Apostasy

The New Jersey Repertory Company presents Apostasy a reading by Gino DiIorio, as part of the Script-In-Hand New Play Series. A successful Jewish businesswoman spending the end of her life in a comfortable hospice where her only companion is her daughter, becomes fascinated by a black late-night televangelist. She finds his message inspiring and comforting and she writes him, offering to make a sizable donation to his ministry. Much to her surprise, he flies out to visit.
