About This Show

Celebrated performer Donny Osmond makes his State Theatre debut. After years of entertaining audiences, Osmond steps into the spotlight with his new CD release, What I Meant to Say, a collection of songs co-written by Osmond himself. What I Meant To Say reflects the depth of Osmond’s experience and knowledge and is the result of an amazing career. Even though it is Osmond’s 54th album, it may be, for him, the most satisfying yet.

Donny Osmond needs no introduction. For more than 41 years, the world has watched him develop from a cherubic little boy singing on TV with his older brothers to a seasoned performer who always has the power to amaze. By the time Osmond was a teenager he had become one of the most popular and successful stars in the history of pop music.

The title of his new CD, What I Meant To Say, tells you everything. These are personal songs, and a glance at the titles, “Keep Her In Mind,” “My Perfect Rhyme,” “Whenever You’re In Trouble,” and “This Guy’s In Love With You,” reveals the depth of intimacy and affection they express.
