James A. Stephens will star as Scrooge in McCarter Theatre Center’s annual production of A Christmas Carol, directed by Michael Unger.

Adapted by David Thompson with music and lyrics by Michael Starobin, Charles Dickens’ timeless holiday masterpiece tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and his magical journey into Christmas past, present and future.
