About This Show

This summer Nordo presents our Summer Jazz Series with Artist in Residence: Jacqueline Tabor.

The three time award winner of the Earshot Jazz Vocalist of the Year, Jacqueline will host live music on select Thursday nights through August in the Culinarium at Nordo. Doors will open at 6pm for our $7 Manhattan Happy Hour with music at 7:30pm. Signature cocktails, wine selections, and succulent bites available throughout the night. Each night in Jacqueline’s Jazz Series will be devoted to a theme, with special guest musicians.

Thursday July 14th's theme will be "Celebrate Bastille Day'. Join us for a beautiful evening celebrating liberty infused with romance!

From Jacqueline: "Although my name is Jacqueline, which is technically French, my experience with that country has only been through song. I love the tunes “April in Paris”, made famous by both Sarah Vaughn and Strayhorn. Also, my favorite song “Autumn Leaves” was originally composed in French by Jacques Prevert. I’ll also be attempting La Vie en Rose in its original language.
This Jazz Night will have an exciting new lineup of musicians, Osama Afifi on bass, John Stout on drums (he may also delight us a bit on vocals), and my dear friend John Sanders on keys and accordion."
About Jacqueline Tabor: Seattle Chanteuse’s signature bluesy style has set her apart as a legendary performer in the Pacific Northwest.
