From Jacqueline: "Koko Taylor is an American Blues Singers born Cora Anna Walton in 1928. Named “The Queen of the Blues”, she was well known for her rough and powerful vocals.
We will be performing great tunes that are new and old to me,” I’m a Woman” , “Voodoo Woman”, and the song she put on the map: “Wang Dang Doodle”. I am so excited to expand my repertoire to include an evening of All Blues.
Josh Rawlings on keys, Martin Budde on guitar, Osama Afifi on Bass, and Max Holmberg on Drums."
