She recently enjoyed her directorial debut with Seattle Rep's production of Gem of the Ocean. Kenny Leon is a leading director of August Wilson's plays and is best known for his lauded Broadway productions of Gem of the Ocean and A Raisin in the Sun, both starring Phylicia Rashad.
